Great!
From DEBBIE GURLEY of Sugarcreek, Ohio on 9/8/2021 .
This is my favorite book between this, Treasure of the Secret Cove and The Chateau by the Lake, all by the same author. This book starts off quickly with a chilvarous romance, but the core of the book I believe is Christ Focused. Getting acquainted with God. I loved the character of Mr Jocelyn, who leads her to the Lord. He plants the seed and does not add to it, as he desires the thinker to think and pray on it. It convicted me and reminded me The Word is enough with His Spirit, He will perform what He sends out. Its beautiful to see how Bridget truly gets "born again" and you can see the transformation in her life. The story plot is interesting, and its wonderful to see how the "bridge" brings peace. Definitely would recommend it... I read it in a day because it was so lovely!
Does Not Disappoint
From William Schmitt of Tucson, Arizona on 10/5/2019 .
While the beginning of this book is not short of action, I had the feeling that it started out slow. However, Amy Le Feuvre does not disappoint. I found myself drawn into Bridget's "faith ladder" that Mr. Jocelyn gave to her. Most of this is in Job 22:21-26. The book includes a very clear gospel message that cuts through some of the self-righteousness that so often hinders our progress towards the Almighty. In fact, the end of the story is one of redemption and hope, so I hope you will read this book and be encouraged in climbing your own "ladder" of faith.
Simply Beautiful! Both Cover and Story!
From Rachel Estes of Benton, Arkansas on 1/31/2019 .
At first this little book seems a bit dull and slow going, but oh fellow reader, give it a chance! It will sweep your heart away and you will not want to put it down. Towards the end of the story, you truly do begin to see God's work in Bridget's life. So many lessons to learn from this little treasure of a book. I highly recommend this book. A delightful read, but one that will leave you with many truths to meditate upon.
Again A Must Read
From Barney Freeborn of New Woodstock, New York on 11/4/2017 .
Just like the book"The Treasure of the Secret Cove" the author holds you in suspense at every turn of the page. And again she brought the gospel to light for each character in the story. It has been a great pleasure in reading both of these stories and this comes from someone who has not been a book reader most of my life. Thank you for producing these amazing stories from the past. Great book with a wonderful message about how important it is to be faithful in keeping secrets and to be respectful even when people are not respectful to you. I am sixteen and it only took me four days to read this book because the end of the chapters left you wanting to read more.

From Bridgette Heap of Groveland, New York on 4/13/2017 .
This book was a fantastic read! I could not put it down. I have already bought several copies to give away as gifts. I am giving this as a wedding gift to a non-Christian couple because the truth of Christ was so beautifully and lovingly interwoven within this story of marriage. Thank you Lamplighter for working so hard to bring us these beautiful books.

This is a very good story although it is slightly romantic. I love how it teaches us to seek to know God, to be honest, and to be loyal. Excellent!

The Secret Bridge
From Anonymous of Avon, Indiana on 3/13/2017 .
Very good examples of bitterness and hatred between families that are healed by the application of biblical principles. Loyalty and honesty are emphasized in the book. We have not quite finished the book yet but recommend it highly. A good book for any married couple and also for those who are planning to be married.. Good examples of inlaw problems.
