I was 40 years old when I listened to this story for the first time and, as an adult, I have grown spiritually through its impact. I also appreciate how Lamplighter is sticking with the AV text when referencing direct scripture quotes. This means a lot to my family.

My grandchildren and I really enjoy listening to Teddy's Button. As we go to church I will play a Lamplighter Theater CD. They really enjoyed Teddy's Button. Sometimes they ask questions and I answer them to the best of my ability. This CD shows how God deals with the heart and your conscience of an individual.

We listened to Charlie’s Choice and The Captive with my 5, 9, & 11 year old sons before listening to Teddy’s Button. They really enjoyed them and were looking forward to this one. However, Teddy’s Button didn’t hold my older boys attention well. They were not interested in finishing the book after we made it through the first CD. My 5 year old did want to finish it though. I’d say this would be a great book for younger kids. It moves a little slower than some of the other audio dramas so they can follow the story line easily.

What we have is not as precious as who we are in Jesus Christ. Teddy's journey offered a greater 'reality' check of failing well that most people can relate to. Love Wins!

All 3 of my children (4yr boy, 6 & 8yr. girls) thoroughly enjoyed reading the book together as a family & then listening to the audio. My 4 yr. old son enjoyed audio most & captured his attention better. They requested to listen to it over and over. I ended up getting a CD Walkman so they could listen on their own whenever (great for trips we took). They absolutely LOVE this story.

I cried every time we listened to it, laughed & was given much inspiration & courage to share Jesus with others. My son kept telling me he wants to be a soldier for God's army <3. It's a powerful story about how our greatest enemy is ourselves & how easy & simple it is to give our hearts to Jesus. I love how these books give us memorable characters & stories in which we can be inspired & encouraged to do what is right & live out our faith.

I have loved Lamplighter for sometime and over time have purchased different audios. One of the ways I like to use them is when I am taking care of children. It is something that we can listen to that actually can be very beneficial. This audio in particular is not only a good tool for evangelism (with children or adults) but it's also a reminder of the impact that we can have for the Kingdom of God when we are living lives that demonstrate the authenticity of the Gospel...even as Teddy's life so impacted many - especially Bouncer's.
This one also makes a great gift for Christmas, particularly if you have family or friends where there are lost children/adults.

Owned the book long before the dramatic audio version was made. I remember how much my 19 year old son loved me reading this story aloud when he was little. I recently purchased the dramatic audio version for my other son and we love it just as much!!! Lamplighter Theater is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Well worth the investment!!

This was our first purchase & it was wonderful & hilarious - I shall keep this forever & we shall listen to it again & again. The mischief of the two children, their bantering dialogue & the twist at the end of the story is fantastic!

This was one of our favourite books to read and we enjoyed the audiobook as well (though still preferring the book as we like it's ending better.)
We had to listen to it twice though as the kids giggled so much we missed bits.

So blessed to run across this story. I was listening to KWVE radio station and heard part of this audio book on a kids show. I was totally touched with our Lords love and care. I missed the ending so I looked it up on line and bought it.

High Quality Production. Presents a young boy's identification/struggle between the "spirit" and the "flesh", revelation of his need for a Saviour ("Captain"), and reliance upon his "Captain" to overcome temptation. My "high enery" six and eight year old grandsons listened intently as we drove in the van, and I was especially pleased when my "young" 6 yr/o asked if I would finish playing the CD after we made a brief stop. My 8 yr/o "picked up" on the subtle humor, and even my chatty 4 yr/o granddaughter listened quietly for the entire time. Highly recommend!

This is a fabulous CD. Our Grandboys age 7 and 11 hated to leave it . We played it in our car when we traveled and it kept them quiet and well behaved. The message concerning God and behavior are great. We liked it so much we ordered several others.

We have now purchased ALL of the Lamplighter audio dramas and there is not one that we don't love. Teddy's Button happens to be a particular favorite with my children though...they play it over and over again. I don't even know how many times we have listened to it now and we've only had it for a little over a month. These are so superbly done...you won't be disappointed if you purchase this one.

Oh Lamplighter Theater, I just love you! No one else creates an audio that makes and displays such great character development. I hope my kids use your characters as role models instead of a lot of the shallowness out there (and by that I mean that not only are there few morals, but also less depth!). Plus, the language is just high enough so they can advance their literary skills. So thankful these were shared with our family. I now share this with all my friends so hopefully they are buying stuff, too.

My young boys sat spellbound listening to this beautifully done story. We had already read the book and this dramatized version certainly did it justice. This story played a sweet role in my son's understanding of his need for a Savior to help him fight self and sin in his heart. A must-have for every family.
